How does it work?

Step 1: Subscribe

Join the club to get our monthly recipe and get baking with all the Hotties.

Hot Cakes is a monthly subscription so you'll be billed every month on the same day you signed up. You can pause or cancel at any time, there's no minimum commitment.

Step 2: Mail Day

Mail is sent on the 1st of each month.

If you've subscribed before the 28th of the previous month you'll receive that month's mail.

E.g subscribe on July 27th > your first recipe will be sent on August 1st.

Mail is sent via untracked letter post. Part of the fun in a mail club is the anticipation waiting for your mail to arrive! Postage can take up to 2 weeks within Australia and up to 6 weeks internationally.

Step 3: Get Baking

Now it's time to get in the kitchen, Hottie!

Enjoy your recipe however you'd like! Bake the classic recipe first or get adventurous and create your own flavour with help from the flavour suggestions.

You'll also receive a baking loyalty card with your first envelope - once you've baked 6 Hot Cakes recipes (new recipes or just different flavour variations!) you'll receive an extra bonus in your next edition.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is included in the monthly subscription price - please choose the correct subscription type based on your location (Australia or International)

When will I receive my mail?

All mail is sent on the 1st of the month. Sign up by the 28th of the current month to receive the next issue - e.g sign up by April 28th to receive May's issue of Hot Cakes. 

All mail is sent via untracked post and may take up to 6 weeks to arrive internationally.

What kind of recipes will I receive?

Every month will be different and focus on a new technique. Each recipe will also be adaptable so you can get creative in the kitchen and try your own flavour variations. 

Do I need any special equipment?

You'll definitely need a scale. All recipe measurements will be in grams as this is the most accurate way to bake (so your goodies turn out right) and it also makes it easier when you want to start experimenting with changing things up to suit your preferences (something you'll learn and gain confidence to do in the club!)

Some recipes will require a mixer (either a handheld or stand mixer) but there will also be recipes that dont.

How do I join the Facebook group?

When you sign up you'll be sent a link to join the private Hot Cakes Club Facebook group where you can ask all your hottest baking questions and share your baking journey with other members of the club.
